CEC Leh visits Bylakuppe, engages with Tibetan Monastic InstitutionsChairman/ CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson concluded a two day visit to Bylakuppe, South India, on December 30. The visit included meaningful engagements with several Tibetan monastic institutions, monastic leaders, and Ladakhi students studying in the region. He also interacted with representatives of various Tibetan organizations, reaffirming his continued support for the community’s spiritual and educational welfare. The visit commenced on December 29, with a warm reception at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, where the Chairman was received by representatives from the monastery, the Tibetan Settlement Officers, Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan Women’s Association, and other Tibetan organizations. The reception highlighted the strong bond between the Ladakhi and Tibetan communities. Gyalson had an audience with Khen Rinpoche and Kilkhang Rinpoche of Tashi Lhunpo, where discussions were held on the upcoming visit of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama to the monastery. The CEC also conducted a site visit to the monastery in preparation for the Dalai Lama’s visit. |
