Advisory panel to constitute in Tourism Department of Ladakh Leh, Mar 05: In order to boost the tourism sector with an overall objective of sustainable development in the Union Territory of Ladakh by using the best talents, skills and experts available in the society, the Department of Tourism, UT Ladakh has decided to take the services of the Experts/ Non-Government Organisations in advisory role in different categories including Adventure Tourism, Cultural Heritage, Home Stay, Conservation, Wild Life, Urban Planning and Publicity. The nominated experts/NGOs in their respective specialized field shall advice and suggest the Ladakh Tourism Department about the new initiatives and innovative ideas needed to be taken into account for immediate action for the betterment of the tourism sector in UT, Ladakh. As per the notice issued by Rigzin Samphel, Commissioner/ Secretary, Tourism & Culture, it is informed to the general public that any interested expert/ NGO from both the districts of Ladakh who would like to be a part of the Advisory panel may submit their name/ organization name to the office of Commissioner/ Secretary, Tourism & Culture, so that the Advisory panel in Tourism Department of UT, Ladakh shall be constituted at the earliest. |
